Bank with local Credit Unions.
Too big to fail? Yes but, we can't rely on our government officials to change the regulations that continually prop them up. The profits are considered capitalist but the losses are socialist. Well my solution is to not do business with these banks. I currently have a mortgage with a large bank and am refinancing with a smaller bank. my checking account and savings accounts are with a local credit union. If we collectively change how we bank they will no longer have a stronghold on how our money is invested. Keep it local, keep it invested in conservative small businesses. Do it today.
